Peer Review: Focus Groups and White Paper authorship
A major academic publisher wanted to understand researcher views on peer review. I was contracted to carry out some qualitative research with authors and editors, in the form of focus groups. These were designed and moderated by myself and then followed up with a summary of key findings and recommendations. The design was also rolled out for focus groups held in South Africa and China.
